This past September Dub Selekta had the opportunity to be part of the media team at the fifth annual Rifflandia Festival here in Victoria. Wanting to do something a bit different than we usually do, we decided to make a short film!

While initially not really sure what to expect, our short film turned into a montage of the events and artists that we saw during the Rifflandia Festival. Often jumping back and forth between venues, most of the film consists of electronic nightlife that happened in Market Square and at Lucky Bar. We ended up catching quite a bit of the festival between the two of us but in the end we managed to get artists like Graintable, iLL Gates, Lunice, Mat the Alien and Longwalkshortdock included in our film. We even managed to get a bit of footage of the elusive DJ Shadow!

The music that we chose for the film included tracks from artists featured in the video and is divided up by night. Longwalkshortdock was even awesome enough to send over a brand new unreleased track. Listen for it towards the end of the video!
